Fixform's great strength is that anyone can report a problem by scanning the QR code. You, as a facility manager, obviously want this to be as accessible as possible, and most importantly: to thank them for their effort. In this article, we'll go over how you can customize the settings to suit your needs.
Where can you customize the messenger stream?
- Go to “Organization” and then click on a building,
- On the left you will see “messenger stream”, click on it.
- The messenger-stream opens and you will see “Settings” and “Messages”:
- Settings: here you can adjust the settings - what data should a reporter leave, what can he/she see,....
- Messages: here you can personalize the messaging - what do they read as a thank you, an update,...
I want reporters to leave their data, how do I do that?
You would like to know who reported the problem, so that you can easily contact them in case of further questions and that they can also be kept informed of the status. For this, adjust the first 2 criteria to your liking:
I want others to be able to see what problems have already been reported to avoid duplication, how do I do that?
Do you want to make sure that your residents, passers-by, tenants,... know that certain problems have already been reported, so that on the one hand they can see what the status is, but on the other hand don't put effort into something you already know? Then you can make sure that previously reported reports are visible.
To do this make sure the following criteria are off:
I want to customize the messaging, how do I do that?
You can personalize the messaging that the notifier of an issue receives throughout the process. You can do this by going to the Messenger stream and clicking on “Messages.”
- First, choose the language from which you want to customize the messaging.
- If you want to customize the Welcome screen, click the arrow in front of “Welcome screen”: here you can change all the text according to your needs.
- Would you like to customize the text of the screen that appears when a problem is reported? You can do that at “Success screen.”
- If a task is updated by the technician, a message is also sent to the reporter. You can edit this text under “Update message”,
- If a task is completed, reporters also receive a notification. You can customize this textual communication under “Message completion”.
