TIP - Use the FixForm application to assign QR codes in seconds:
Browser:
- Open the location of a specific room in your FixForm app
- Click on the location to which you want to add the QR code
- Click on the plus sign under QR Codes
- Scan the QR code
- Now the QR code is linked to this location
Mobile:
On mobile, there are 2 ways to assign a QR code to a space or object.
The primary way:
- Open the app
- Click on the QR codes scanner icon
- Scan the QR code
If the QR code is not yet assigned to a location, you will get a pop-up where you can enter the location or asset to which you want to assign the QR code.
If the QR code is already assigned to a location you will get a pop-up to create a new task for this location.
If the QR code is already assigned to a location, you get a pop-up with all the information about the linked location.
If you click on QR codes, you can remove the QR code from the location or change the location from this tab.
The secondary way:
- Open the app
- Click on Organization
- Choose the building to which you want to add the QR code
- Click on Spaces
- Open the location of a specific room in your FixForm app
- Click on the location to which you want to add the QR code
- Click on the plus sign under QR Codes
- Scan the QR code
- Now the QR code is linked to this location
TIP: Stick the QR codes at eye level and at the height you normally use your phone for optimal use.
