You have now mastered the ins and outs of FixForm, but still want to build and view custom reports in Microsoft Excel or other BI tools?
You can do so in a few simple steps:
- Export the CSV extraction with all or filtered tasks.
- (Update) Export specific tasks using filters.

1. Export the CSV extraction with all tasks
From the tasks overview of the desktop version, go to the “download” button in the right corner at the bottom (only in table view):
If you do not have filters set up, then an extraction is made of all the tasks found in the download folder of your desktop.
2. Export specific tasks using filters
In the task overview, you can also use filters. If you set filters, and then click on the download button, you will export only those tasks you filtered on.
That way you can be more focused with the exports and your reporting from FixForm.
Additional tips:
We can make the columns “Reported on,” “Scheduled for,” “Scheduled on,” and “Completed on” more readable by inserting a column next to each respective column and running "Text to columns ” 4 times.
Instead of “Comma” as a separator, choose “Other” and type “T”.
You now have a column of dates and a column of times. You can delete the time columns. You can use the date column to create daily, weekly, monthly and yearly statements.
As the very last step, you can calculate how many days a problem remained unsolved. You do this by dividing the values in column “Unresolved time (seconds)” by 86 400 (which is how many seconds are in a day).
