FixForm lets you add comments to notifications in two ways: public or private. Here's what makes them different.
Public Comments
- Visible to all: Anyone who scans the QR code can read these comments.
- Updates for reporters: If you've submitted a report with your contact details (phone number or email address), you'll automatically receive notifications when someone adds a public comment.
Public comments are ideal for sharing updates that everyone should know about, like status changes or important announcements.
Private Comments
- For FixForm users only: Private comments are visible only within the task and only to those with a FixForm account.
- Tag your colleagues: You can @mention team members to bring them directly into the task.
Private comments are perfect for internal communication, like discussing next steps or sharing team-specific information.
